If
you've ever sustained an injury, you
know how long and difficult it is
to get your body back to it's optimal
level of health. Injuries cause weakness
and tightness in different muscles,
joints, and ligaments which over time
can impinge various nerves leading
to even more injuries. It's a brutal
cycle, but with the proper conditioning
(by using bands, light weights, and
with specific exercises) the body
can be restored to it's optimal functioning
levels. Click

rehabilitation.
With over 50% of Americans
being overweight, it is extremely
important that a healthy diet and
exercise routine is integrated into
all of our daily lives. By balancing
a higher paced work-out with a diet
that puts you in a caloric deficient
(burning more calories than you consume),
weight loss becomes inevitable. I
can help you to combine cardiovascular
activity, weight training, and a proper
diet to get you to where you want
to be. Click

Core Strengthening
The most common symptom
of an underdeveloped core (primarily
the abdominal muscles and muscles
in your lower back) is a lower back
injury. Developing a strong core will
help you to avoid injury and enhance
your posture. A strong core enhances
the efficiency of your limbs, therefor
training your core will make your
entire body stronger. Almost every
training session includes at least
7-10 minutes of core training.
As we age, our bodies
begin to change. The way we need to
train them also changes. Slower movements
with an emphasis on proprioception
(balance) takes precedence as well
as strengthening the muscles that
surround the hips. Weight bearing
exercise is also critical to help
maintain bone density. Click

and advice.
Muscle Gain and Toning
Two
of the most common fitness goals are
building muscle and toning. In each
of these cases certain variables must
be manipulated, such as sets, repetitions,
rest periods, and overall volume of
the workout. With the proper guidance
it's all possible!
Postural Corrections
Looking around, you
will notice that people walk in many
different ways. Some arch their backs,
some roll their shoulders forward.
Whatever imbalance you may have in
your posture, it can be aided by the
correct exercises. Strengthening certain
muscles while stretching others will
help pull your body back into its
natural anatomical position.
Lack
of flexibility can be debilitating
over time. It has the potential to
cause lower back injuries among many
others. By incorporating exercises
into a work-out program that require
flexibility to be used, our muscles
will begin to loosen up over time.
On top of flexibility exercises, there
are certain types of stretches and
forms of release that will speed up
the process and help us prevent injury!
That special type of stretching is
called PNF or proprioceptive neuromuscular
facilitation, of which I am especially
trained. For

Nutritional Guidance
I can help to guide
you to make more healthful choices
and aid in portion control. There
are certain types of foods that should
be avoided, as well as those that
are imperative to a training routine.
Calories must be controlled based
upon your goals and the proper foods
must be consumed. A good diet makes
up for over 50% of the results! For
